Detroit – Your Next Trade Show Destination
Several exhibit halls in Metro Detroit have recently gone through massive expansions or renovations, driving event planners to select Detroit for their next conference. TCF Center, formerly known as COBO Hall, was chosen to host The Sustainable Brands conference in 2019, largely due to the nearly 280 million dollar renovations that the facility had completed. This year, the renovated Detroit exhibit facility will host over 40 trade shows and conferences, including Cannacon, WCX20, and Secure World Expo, just to name a few.
In addition to the massive improvements within the facility walls, the surrounding River Walk and Hart Plaza areas are gearing up for the 2020 NAIAS, which for the first time will be held in June, and feature additional exhibit and event spaces outdoors. A fresh change for those who are used to bundling up and attending in January!
Outside of Detroit, Novi’s Suburban Collection Showplace is also a hot spot for trade shows and conferences. Home to shows like the Foam Expo, Automotive Testing Expo and The Battery Show, this venue has just expanded – again – adding nearly an additional 200,000 square feet of event space including an events center and ballroom.
