Meet the GraphiColor Team

Anita Mitzel, President of GraphiColor

Anita was born and raised in the city of Detroit, and while she loves to travel all over the world, she considers herself a “dyed-in-the-wool” Detroiter.

With a theater degree from Eastern Michigan University, Anita started performing in local commercials and training films, which led to becoming a narrator at auto shows all over the country. She uses her past experiences in working at a wide variety of trade shows to help our clients, by sharing in-depth knowledge of the trade show industry and advising on best practices to be successful.

She and her husband Don started GraphiColor in 1984, and is proud of her staff and the great work they do. She loves being a part of a small-business success story that is still being written after 33 years in the Detroit area!

Don Mitzel, CEO of GraphiColor

Don is a true Michigander, born in southeast Michigan, and hasn’t ever left! He is a die-hard fan of all Detroit sports teams, and is proud to say that he is able to remain (somewhat) neutral in the ongoing college rivalry of Spartans vs. Wolverines.

Don has enjoyed being business partners with his wife Anita for 33 years. With a business degree from Eastern Michigan University, and a creative eye, Don has been a key component in the success of GraphiColor, and also in the trade show successes found by our clients.

Don is dedicated to problem-solving, teamwork, and maintaining the level of customer service that GraphiColor provides.

Donald Cronkhite, Vice President

Donald Cronkhite is an award-winning designer, who’s been designing in the trade show industry for over 20 years – over fifteen of those years have been with GraphiColor.

With his trade show expertise and experience, GraphiColor’s clients place their trust in Donald and he never disappoints. He manages our clients in the design process to create displays that are visually appealing, as well as functional.  “The most important step in the design process is listening to our clients in order to understand their needs.  I consider management of space, display materials, graphic placement, display re-configurations, client budget, attendee interaction, and ease of assembly and dismantle. My ultimate goal is to create a memorable experience for the show attendee that generates leads for our client.”

Donald holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Wayne State University and stays on top of industry trends by attending seminars and enrichment classes. He is also an accomplished oil painter and has had works on display in various galleries.  Born and raised in Livonia, Michigan, he now resides in Allen Park and spends his free time with his wife and three children.

Glenn Braasch, Production ManagerGlenn is our hard-working Production Manager, who’s been working for GraphiColor for over 20 years.  He began working here while still a high school student, initially interested in the trade show industry thanks to some printing/technology courses he took while attending Northville High School.

Glenn quickly became an expert on digital printing when GraphiColor became one of the first digital printers in the Detroit area. He works diligently at perfecting our clients’ large format printing jobs and display projects, and is a key component in GraphiColor’s continued successes.

When he is able to find some spare time, Glenn enjoys playing golf and hockey, and traveling with his family to Hilton Head. Born and raised in southeast Michigan, Glenn is a die-hard Tigers fan, and every season tries to attend as many games as he possibly can.

A native Michigander, born and raised in Livonia, Michigan, Lorna has a BS in Marketing from Madonna University.  Lorna is a bike rider, walker, scrapbooker, an avid reader and likes to travel with her husband of 33 years.
